Silver Coin Prices

The price of silver coins is dependent on the current silver spot price. This price fluctuates constantly and is determined by factors such as real-time market conditions and supply and demand.

Silver coins are often more affordable than gold, making them accessible to all levels of collectors; however, they still carry many similar benefits.

FAQ's

  • You can buy silver coins online and pay via debit or credit card, as well as bank transfer.

  • Buying silver coins enables investors to diversify their portfolios and provides an efficient avenue to collect good returns while maintaining tax efficiency. The value of silver bullion coins can rise quicker than the silver spot price because of their collectable characteristics.

  • Silver coins offer more flexibility when selling at a later date because they are easier to trade. This makes silver bullion coins a popular choice for new and experienced investors alike. However, for large investors looking to keep premiums minimal, some prefer to buy silver bars because they offer the most silver bullion weight for flat currency.

  • All new silver coins are subject to VAT. You will not be able to reclaim this VAT when you sell the silver bullion coins unless you have purchased the Silver through a VAT registered business.

VAT is not charged for purchases on silver coins from outside of the EU or if you have supplied a European VAT number. In both of these circumstances we are obliged to ship the silver coins to your foreign address, collection will not be possible.

VAT may not be charged on certain pre-owned silver coins if they comply with the UK Government’s Margin Scheme.

VAT will be charged on pre-owned silver coins if we have purchased them from a VAT REGISTERED BUSINESS, we must pay VAT and we must then charge VAT.

VAT will always be charged on silver rounds and bars as they are not classed as silver bullion coins and as such, they are not “Collectable” and do not comply with the Margin Scheme legislation.
