Other Information

The fifth portrait was designed by Jody Clark, who aged 33, is the youngest artist to have achieved this honour.

The fifth portrait did appear on Sovereign coins in 2015, but only in proof edition. This was the first time in over 100 years that two different busts appeared on a sovereign in a single year.

In 2017 UK Sovereigns featured a unique shield mark. This privy mark featured to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the modern Sovereign. Above the shield the number 200 can be seen.
