Service Update Information
As demand in physical gold and silver continues to increase, we are experiencing a higher than usual number of orders. With more clients choosing Atkinsons for their precious metals, we want to ensure you continue to receive the level of service you expect from us.
- Dispatch Times - please be assured that all orders placed are backed by our stock, but are currently subject to dispatch delays of 8-9 working days. These delays also apply to those who are collecting their orders from our showroom.
- Phones Lines - Following the global internet outage on Monday 20th October, we are still experiencing issues with our phone line service. Unfortunately, this ongoing disruption is due to delays from our external service provider, and we appreciate your continued patience and understanding while they work to resolve it.
- Showroom Appointments - if you would prefer to collect an order from our showroom or are looking to sell a large collection to us, simply select the relevant option during the checkout process and we will contact you directly to book you in. Please note that all delays apply to those who are collecting their orders from our showroom too.

- Place an order online anytime – You can place an order through our website at any time, without needing to call or email – prices are fixed up to £80,000, and many payment options are available. For orders over £80,000 you can submit an expression of interest and we will contact you during trading hours, which are Mon-Fri, 9am–5pm.
As product availability is limited, we have made it easy to find all of our ‘In Stock’ products, simply visit our Gold In Stock or Silver In Stock pages. Please note, we only sell product that is fully backed by stock. - Check current dispatch times – You can view our most up-to-date dispatch times on the banner of our website, on the checkout page and of course, right here on our Service Update page.
- Looking to sell your Gold and/or Silver Bullion to us? No problem at all, simply browse the ‘Sell to Us’ section of the website to view the current prices we are paying for your items. Add all the items you wish to sell to a package, fix the price* and complete the online checkout process, just as you would when making a purchase.
* Prices can be fixed on amounts below £40,000 and subject to delivery to us within 2 working days. If selling through a VAT registered company, you would need to call us on 0121 355 0620 for prices. - Track your order status. You will receive various email communications as your order passes through our system. If this is your first order with us, please be aware that your email service provider may place these in your ‘Junk Mail’, so it is always worth checking this folder. We will email as your parcel is prepared and again on the evening of dispatch with tracking information.
