Sell To Us Packaging Guidelines

Complete the whole process online

Simply browse the 'Sell to Us' section of the website and add all of the items you wish to sell to a package and proceed through the online checkout process. When you complete this process we'll lock in your price for 2 business days and generate a packing slip for you ready to be sent to us along with your items.

Multiple packages

If you are sending us items that exceed a total value of £2,500.00 we strongly recommend that you split your items across multiple packages. When sending your items through the post - Royal Mail's Special Delivery service should be used, which offers insurance up to a value of £2,500.00.

Send it

With your paper work inside the package, tape your box or jiffy bag shut and make sure they are secure. Then add sender information to the exterior of the parcel and address the parcel to the address shown below. Please note: this is a postal address only.

Then all you need to do is to take your package to the post office to be sent to us. 

It is your duty to ensure that all consignments are adequately insured and that all relevant declarations as to the description and value of the package are accurately provided.

Packaging guidelines:

Tubes

Ensure tubes are sealed securely, padding the inside of tubes to stop the coins rattling, taking care to tape the lid shut to ensure all your coins stay safely inside the tube.

Single coins

Avoid taping coins to cardboard as they can come lose and potentially become damaged or fall out of the packaging.

Weight

If you find the total weight of the items is more than a kilo, consider using a box as they are less likely to tear or break under the weight.

Jiffy bags and boxes

We recommend using jiffy bags or appropriately sized boxes to send your items to us. It’s also important to ensure each item is carefully wrapped and that the box or bag you are using to send the items is packed as much as possible with bubble wrap, tissue or newspaper work well.

Discreet packaging is the key here. Please ensure you use sufficient quantity of packaging in order to disguise its contents.

Before you come to secure your box or jiffy bag, always ensure that you include your paper work.
