How to Sell From Your Portfolio

Selling your gold and silver through the Portfolio page in your account is a quick and straightforward way to manage your holdings. Your online Portfolio gives you an up-to-date view of everything you have bought from us, making it easy to decide when you wish to sell.

You can see all of your purchased products, the quantity you own, the average price paid, their current value, and whether each item has increased or decreased in value, all at a glance. When you are ready to sell, everything you need is just a few clicks away.

Start your sale from your Portfolio

To begin your sale, simply click the ‘Sell’ link next to the listed product you’d like to sell. You will then be taken to the product page, where you can see the current price we are paying for that item.

Enter the quantity you would like to sell, and click ‘add to package’. A confirmation pop-up will show the item you have selected, along with the current price we are offering. From here, you can either continue adding more items to your package, or head to the ‘your package’ page to review your sale.

On the ‘your package’ page, you will see the total value of your sale, and some important information about when we will need to receive your package from you.

If you are happy to continue, you can proceed with your sale which locks in your price for two business days*.

Choose how to send your items

Before competing your sale, check that your contact details are correct, and choose how you would like to send your items.

You can either:

  • Send your items to us by post using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service provides insurance for parcels worth up to £2,500.  If your sale is worth more than this, we recommend splitting your items across multiple parcels so each remains fully insured.
  • Drop your items off at our secure showroom in Sutton Coldfield. Once you have completed your sale online, we will contact you to arrange a convenient appointment.

During the online selling process, you will also be asked to enter the bank details of where you’d like your payment sent, and accept our Terms and Conditions before confirming your sale.

What happens next?

Once you have competed the selling checkout online, a pre-filled packing slip will be generated for you – simply place this inside your parcel before sending it.

We recommend packaging your coins and bars securely to ensure they are protected during transit.

If you are posting your items to us, you will receive a notification when your parcel arrives with us. We will then inspect and verify your products before we contact you with your final quote. If you are dropping your items off to us in person, we will complete this process during your appointment.

Once you have accepted your quote, payment is normally made to you within three working days, making selling straight from your online Portfolio a simple, secure, and convenient process.
