The text "YALE OF BEAUFORT" along with the 2023 year-date, weight, and fineness also appear on the reverse. The reverse also features an animated chainmail background for added security.
The obverse of the coin features the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by designer Jody Clark, and the monetary denomination of 25 Pounds.
