This Pre-Owned 2014 UK Lunar Horse 1oz Gold Coin was the first in a series of coins that made up The Royal Mint's Shēngxiào Collection. The reverse of the coin features a single horse, galloping across grassy land. Inscribed upon the coin is 'YEAR OF THE HORSE. 2014', and details of the coin's weight and fineness. The Chinese symbol for the horse also appears in the design.

The obverse features the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, by Ian Rank-Broadley.
