The Tudor Beasts coin series takes inspiration from the 10 heraldic stone beasts that line the moat bridge of Hampton Court Palace. Originally commissioned to commemorate the marriage of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, these coins celebrate Britain's Royal House of Tudor and the iconic heraldry associated with them. Portrayed as a powerful creature with fiery breath, the Queen's Panther stands as a symbol of support for Jane Seymour. Bestowed upon her by the king, this ancient emblem was meant to strengthen and legitimise her position as queen.
