This UK Britannia Oriental Border 1oz Silver Coin features the internationally recognised original portrait of Britannia, with a new limited edition oriental themed border, and radial lines for added security to the traditional design. Details of the coin's weight, fineness and year-date also feature.

The obverse design depicts the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on a new guilloche background design, and the monetary denomination of 2 Pounds.

Each coin weighs 1 Troy Ounce and is struck in 999.9 Fine Gold.

In 2018 and 2019 The Royal Mint produced the Britannia with an Oriental Border. These coins were produced as well as the standard bullion version of the UK Britannia. The issue was lauched to celebrate the expansion of the Royal Mint's bullion business in Asia. Britannia is flanked by an ornate oriental border inspired by the Chinese-themed rooms at Buckingham Palace and the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.

All year-dates contain the same metal weight and fineness, but the design of the coin varied during these years.
