This Pre-Owned 1817 George III Full Gold Sovereign features Benedetto Pistrucci's famous St George and the Dragon design, with the inscription "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense", and the year-date.
The obverse side of the coin bears a portrait of King George III, laureate head.

King George III ruled Great Britain and Ireland from October 1760 until his death in 1820 and was famous for his prolonged periods of mental illness.
