The Pre-Owned Australian Lunar Horse 1/2oz Silver coin features two horses within a stylized Chinese landscape. The Chinese character for ‘Horse’ also appears in the design. According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, those who are born under the influence of this sign said to be hardworking, sociable, optimistic and energetic.
Inscribed on the coin is ‘Year of the Horse’. The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark also appears in the design, along with the year-date, weight and fineness. The coin's obverse depicts Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
