The 2015 Australian Great Hammerhead Shark 1/2oz Silver Coin was designed by Natasha Muhl. The coin's obverse features a swimming great hammerhead shark, surrounded by the name, year-date, weight and purity, along with the Perth Mint's "P" mintmark. The initials of designer 'NM' can be found on the shark's tail.
The obverse of the coin bears the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
