The 2023 UK Britannia 1 kilo Silver Bullion Coin is the largest coin in the Britannia range and features the internationally recognised original portrait of Britannia. 2023 was the first year to feature a 1kg Silver Britannia coin. The design was created by Philip Nathan and is exclusive to The Royal Mint.
The obverse of the coin depicts the fifth and final portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on a guilloche background design, and the monetary denomination of 500 Pounds. This was the final Britannia coin to feature Queen Elizabeth II and had a limited production run.
