This Pre-Owned 2014 UK Lunar Horse 1oz silver coin was the first coin in The Royal Mint's Shēngxiào Collection. The coin's reverse design features a galloping horse design and the Chinese symbol for horse. The inscription "Year of the Horse" and the year-date also appear.
The coin's obverse depicts a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.

The Royal Mint first released the Lunar Series as part of the Shēngxiào Collection in 2014. The Horse is the seventh animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. Those born in the Year of the Horse are said to be warm-hearted, enthusiastic, and positive.
