This Pre-Owned 2016 UK Lunar Monkey 1oz silver coin is the third coin in The Royal Mint's Shēngxiào Collection. The coin's reverse design features a lone rhesus monkey swinging through trees. The Chinese symbol for monkey along with the inscription "Year of the Monkey", the weight, fineness and the year-date also appear.
The coin's obverse depicts the fifth portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.

The Lunar Monkey coin is the third coin in the Royal Mint's Shēngxiào Collection. The Monkey is the ninth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac.

Designed by artist Wuon-Gean Ho, this coin has a limited mintage of only 138,888 coins.
