The 2017 Rwanda Lunar Rooster 1oz Silver Coin was the first release in the Rwanda Lunar series of coins. The obverse features a stylised rooster design in the centre of the coin. The coin also features the inscriptions 'Lunar Ounce', '2017', the Chinese symbol for Rooster, and the fineness of the coin.
The reverse of the coin bears the seal of Rwanda, along with the monetary value.
