The 2023 UK King Charles III Coronation Britannia 1oz Silver Coin features the first crowned portrait of His Majesty King Charles III and was limited to a mintage of only 200,000 worldwide. Designed by British sculptor Martin Jennings, the portrait was personally approved by King Charles III himself.
The reverse of the coin features the internationally recognised original portrait of Britannia, created by Philip Nathan and exclusive to The Royal Mint. The iconic design also includes additional security features making it the most visually secure coin in the world. Details of the coin's 2023 year-date, weight, and fineness also feature on the reverse side.
The obverse of the coin bears the first crowned portrait of His Majesty King Charles III designed by sculptor Martin Jennings along with the monetary denomination of 2 pounds.
