Other Information:
The Canadian Maple 1oz Silver coin was first minted in 1988. Though there have been different Silver coin designs for commemorative editions of the Silver Maple Leaf, the Canadian maple has stayed the main focus of the design. As from 2014, the background of the maple coin has featured radial lines; precisely machined by the Royal Canadian Mint onto their master die, these create a unique light diffracting pattern which has not been seen on other bullion coins.
