The coin's reverse features an adult tiger with her cub following behind across rocky terrain. The Chinese character for Tiger and the inscription ‘Tiger 2022’ appear in the design, alongside The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The obverse design bears a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Details of the coin's weight, fineness, metal type, and monetary denomination also appear.
