The 2009 Australian Lunar Ox 5oz Silver Coin features a stylised design showing ox and calf. The Chinese character for ‘Ox’ also appears in the design. Shown on the reverse of the coin is ‘Year of the Ox’ along with The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark.
The coin's obverse depicts Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year-date, weight, fineness and the monetary denomination.
