Boudicca - Queen of The Iceni Tribe

Atkinsons are proud to present the Boudicca: Britain's Warrior Queen 1oz Silver Round, with a strictly limited mintage of only 500 pieces of each design. The fearless warrior queen of the Iceni tribe, Boudicca’s enduring legacy of courage and resistance make her the perfect choice to grace our first ever branded round.

Boudicca was queen of the Iceni tribe, Celtic people living in what is now Norfolk, England, during the early Roman occupation of Britain. She is most famous for leading a major uprising against the occupying Roman forces around AD 60-61. This revolt was triggered by the harsh treatment of her people following the death of her husband, King Prasutagus.

The exquisitely detailed design of each silver round perfectly captures the essence of Boudicca using elements inspired by ancient coins, traditional Celtic designs, and mystical symbolism, bringing the formidable queen of the Iceni tribe to life in her full, powerful glory.
