    Newbie experience

    I ordered some silver coins but before I could finish the transaction, I was interrupted by a visitor and forgot to go back and continue the final bit. After a few days I wondered where my coins were (thinking I had paid). However, a very kind lady called Samantha quickly got in touch from Atkinsons and told me after 48 hours the order would have been cancelled. I asked what the price would be now and fortunately I was able to buy my coins for a cheaper price. Lesson learnt!! Don't get distracted.

    Royal Mint's lack of quality control.

    5 x 1oz silver Britannias. Speedy dispatch and delivery. So top marks for Atkinsons. Only down side which is not really Atkinsons fault is the quality of the coins. Typical poor quality control from the Royal Mint. The chips and damage on 2026 Brits is awful. Bullion is what bullion is but I think I will stick with buying old gold sovereigns, much better. And the fact that they are much older and were in general circulation, the ones I have are in much better condition than the newly minted silver brits.
